COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT MEETING (3):  Wed. October 24, 2018 @ 6:30 - 8:30 pm at the Small Arms Building, 1352 Lakeshore Road East (map) in Lakeview.  ALL WELCOME.  Poster below (created by TOPCA).

At this meeting it was indicated that cycling access to the Lake Ontario shoreline and the former industrial coal pier (800m in length) will be provided during the first phase of the 245-acre construction plan.  ► View image for a conceptual view of the proposed trail access.

NOTE:  TOPCA Executive members attend all Lakeview Village sessions, and also encourage Port Credit residents to do so.  We seek synergy for our entire centre-eastern waterfront with our sister community in Lakeview.  We are working closely with the Lakeview Ratepayers Advisory Group specifically in regard to the Lakeview Village development plan, and as always, with the LRA Board regarding many mutual issues.

► The second Community Engagement Meeting took place on September 26, 2018.  View the Facebook album.

► The first Community Re-engagement Session took place on April 18, 2018.  View the LCPL Newsletter (Sept. 2018) (4p PDF) for photos / results of that session.

Lakeview Community Partners Limited (LCPL) (proposal website) intends to continue the Government of Ontario, the City of Mississauga and OPG’s engagement that was key in achieving the master plan for Inspiration Lakeview, the City's vision for its eastern waterfront.

► LCPL is refining its Development Vision & Master Plan (April 9, 2018; 46p PDF) for Lakeview Village.  Public Sessions will provide details of the proposed Plan and seek community feedback regarding implementation on the 245-acre former OPG coal-fired power plant site.  The brownfield will be transformed to a mixed-use community with 67 acres of land to be remediated and transferred to the City of Mississauga.

► City of Mississauga (April 10, 2017): City's Vision for Lakeview Continues to Inspire.
