FINAL PUBLIC MEETING: Monday, June 25, 2018 @ 6:30 pm at City Hall (Council Chamber). This statutory public meeting at the Planning and Development Committee (all of Council) will address the Edenshaw development proposal and welcomes public comment. The Planning Staff Recommendation Report which will form the basis of the meeting (it records all public and other agency comments received to date) is posted in the PDC Agenda (Item 4.9) for June 25, 2018 (direct link), which starts on page 531 of the PDF.

► NOTE: The City has issued a Notice of Public Meeting (2p PDF) to Residents about this Public Meeting on June 25, 2018. City staff will be recommending Approval of the application.
► TOPCA will be providing written comment regarding the buffer to, and accessibility of, the Port Credit Cenotaph (Vimy Park), the decision process for any Community Benefit ensuing (under Section 37 of the Planning Act), and the future of Riverside Public School which could be linked to this development via our proposed pedestrian/cycling bridge just south of the CNR, thereby eliminating some car traffic in a congested area.

Planning Dept. Notice at left) has been replaced by this
meeting.

► NOTE: The City has issued a Notice to Residents (2p PDF; with AGENDA) about the re-scheduled Community Meeting on March 26, 2018. Residents will have a full opportunity to give comment on this development proposal at the Town Hall Meeting. City Planning Staff will be in attendance to hear public comments.

SAD NOTE: Port Credit residents may have received the original Meeting Notice in the mail, subsequent to the sudden passing of Ward 1 Councillor Jim Tovey on January 15, 2018. The Ward One Office advised it was too late to stop the mailing but that meeting was cancelled.
