WE ARE ALL VOLUNTEERS! Please help us continue strong community engagement and civic participation. For $10.00 per year, per household address, you can join TOPCA and renew your membership annually using PayPal, a popular and secure way to transfer funds using the method of your choice. There is also the option to make a donation to support TOPCA's community activities. NOTE: You don't need to have a PayPal account to use it.

► MEMBERSHIP: REGULAR Membership is open to all who live, own property, or own a business in the Port Credit District, from Seneca Avenue on the eastern boundary, to the Shawnmarr Road development on the western edge, and from the CNR line south to Lake Ontario. Regular members can vote at TOPCA meetings (one vote per household address).

ASSOCIATE Membership is open to anyone outside of Port Credit who would like to join TOPCA. All membership benefits apply except voting at TOPCA meetings.

We are always looking to increase our membership, and encourage present TOPCA members to invite their friends and neighbours in Port Credit to join. Together we are stronger.

► TERM: TOPCA membership runs annually from January 1 - December 31. We welcome new members anytime! Annual renewals are much appreciated to help support our ongoing annual expenses. NOTE: Memberships or annual renewals received after OCTOBER 1st apply immediately, and to the end of the FOLLOWING calendar year.

► FORM: Download the 2024 Membership Form if you wish to join TOPCA or renew your membership in-person at one of our meetings or join/renew by mail (address on the Form).

► DONATE: You can help support TOPCA’s many community activities whether you live in Port Credit or just visit from time to time! TOPCA is a volunteer, not-for-profit residents' association but not a registered charity. We cannot issue tax receipts, but all contributions will be gratefully acknowledged! Whether $10, $25, or even more -- Thank You for any amount!

Q: What is a ratepayers’ or residents’ association?

A: Such associations are recognized by the City as speaking for a group of residents with common interests, within defined boundaries. These associations receive regular communications from their Councillor in order that members are well-informed on issues in their area.

Q: Why should I belong to a residents' association?

A: As citizens we have the responsibility to speak up on issues that concern us. Ratepayer or residents’ groups enable us to speak collectively, the better to be heard by those who make the decisions at City Council. Even if you don’t wish to be an active member, you can lend support simply by joining or donating.

The Town of Port Credit Association (TOPCA) began in November 2006 to provide a strong voice for all who live, own property, or own a business in the Port Credit District, from Seneca Avenue on the eastern boundary, to the Shawnmarr Road development on the western edge, and from the CNR line south to Lake Ontario.

*NOTE* We also welcome Associate (non-voting) members from anywhere outside of Port Credit!

*HOUSEHOLD* Membership is now established on a per household basis. If there are multiple occupants of a household (i.e. at the same address), they are included with the annual $10.00 membership fee, as approved at the November 2020 TOPCA AGM. Regardless of the number of household occupants, there is only one TOPCA membership (and vote) per household address.
